The truth is oftentimes those in most need of mentoring don't understand enough about how they should seek it out, and sometimes it's a matter of proximity or getting beyond environmental restraints and the lack of exposure. The chances are if you weren't brought up in a culture of positive mentoring you’ll be less to engage in mentoring positively. You will naturally only put out what's been intentionally placed in you.
Mentoring is that time-honored practice in which many of us can point to an influential person (or maybe several people) who have helped shape who many of us are today. These mentors have worked behind the scenes with us, generously sharing their time, expertise, and insights to nurture our potential, and to keep us on track, and help us grow - often personally and professionally.
In this episode we'll be discussing the topic of "The Search for My Mentor"
1. What are the approaches to finding a good mentor
2. What questions to ask a potential mentor
3. How do I know if it's the right fit
4. The benefits of mentoring for personal and professional development, staying on target and so much more!
